TV Recycling Onsite Pick-Up Terms and Conditions

This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the Ontech Force, LLC ("Company") and the ("Customer"). This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for the onsite pick-up of television equipment for recycling.

1. Eligibility and Scope

1.1 The Company offers free onsite TV pick-up for recycling services to eligible customers. Eligibility and availability may vary by location.

1.2 This service is limited to the recycling of televisions and related equipment. Additional items may be subject to separate arrangements or fees.

2. Scheduling and Confirmation

2.1 The Customer can request a pick-up by contacting the Company through the designated channels, such as the form below.

2.2 The Company will confirm the pick-up date, time, and location with the Customer.

3. Responsibilities of the Customer

3.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the TV equipment is accessible and ready for pick-up at the scheduled time and location.

3.2 The Customer must provide accurate information about the TV equipment, including its condition, size, and weight, to enable the Company to allocate appropriate resources for pick-up.

4. Responsibilities of the Company

4.1 The Company will send a representative to the Customer's location at the agreed-upon date and time for the TV pick-up.

4.2 The Company will ensure the environmentally responsible recycling and disposal of the collected TV equipment.

5. Limitations and Exclusions

5.1 The Company reserves the right to refuse pick-up for any equipment that poses safety risks, contains hazardous materials, or exceeds the weight and size limitations.

6. Ownership and Release

6.1 The Customer certifies that they are the lawful owner of the TV equipment and have the authority to request its recycling.

6.2 Upon pick-up, ownership and responsibility for the TV equipment are transferred to the Company for recycling.

7. Liability and Indemnification

7.1 The Company is not liable for any damage or loss to the Customer's property during the pick-up process.

7.2 The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any liability, claims, or damages arising from the recycling process.

8. Termination

8.1 Either party may terminate this Agreement with reasonable notice.

9. Governing Law

9.1 This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction].

10. Entire Agreement

10.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral.

On-Site TV Repair

Most work is completed on the same day, right in the customer's home. However, if further diagnostics are required at our service center, please allow 1-3 business days to receive the estimate. In case part(s) are needed to finalize the repair, it might take 3-7 business days, subject to part availability.

Ontech Force LLC provides 30-day labor and a 90-day parts warranty for any in-shop or in-home repair 

PARTS WARRANTY

Ontech Force LLC. will replace any malfunctioning parts that were placed inside the television unit. Only parts that have been replaced by us have a 90-day warranty. The warranty only applies if parts, which Ontech Force LLC. replaced, are the cause of the malfunction.

We order parts with your consent after a diagnosis (Tech's visit or phone troubleshooting). Some parts can be returned for a restocking fee. Other parts, like electrical parts, often are not returnable. You should be responsible for any fees (restocking, shipping) incurred by your agreement to proceed.

LABOR WARRANTY

Ontech Force LLC provides a 30-day labor warranty only for part(s) that were replaced by Ontech Force LLC.

Our warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • If the TV has been damaged or tampered with outside of our possession, in cases such as water damage, physical damage, the increased voltage in a socket, above room temperature (71° F to 82° F), humidity, etc.
  • If the TV has been opened by non-qualified personnel.
  • If there are foreign objects inside the TV including but not limited to insects or rodents and their traces.

EXPECTED REPAIR TIMELINE

The time it takes to repair a TV after diagnosis and availability of parts can vary depending on several factors, including the complexity of the issue, the availability of the specific parts needed, and the workload of our repair technicians. Generally, once the diagnosis is made and parts availability is confirmed, it could take anywhere from 3 to 7 days to a couple of weeks for the repair to be completed. You will be notified.

in-HOME SERVICE

Convenient In-Home Service: Bringing Expertise to Your Doorstep
 
  1. Travel service fee begins at $75 within the city (up to 15 miles), covering the technician's transportation costs, including gas, insurance, and other expenses. This fee is in addition to the diagnostic fee.

  2. Diagnostic Fee: This applies toward the final repair cost of your TV. Troubleshooting and diagnostic fees: Will be factored into the final affordable repair cost of your TV.

  3. Pick-up and Delivery: Determined by the technician's discretion.

  4. Parts Procurement: We will return to you as many times as necessary to complete the repair, with no additional charges

  5. If an extra Technician is required add $75. # If, it is a plasma TV add $35

IN-HOME SERVICE TERMS:

  • There is a Home service fee charge depending on the television size. Home service fees must be paid upfront before any diagnostics are made.
  • Ontech Force LLC. handles all pick-up and delivery when necessary.
  • Upon cancellation of any repairs, the Home service fee charge will not be refunded.
  • All cancellations of appointments must be made 24 hours before the scheduled appointed window*, if the customer fails to cancel within that time; the Home service fee charge is not refunded.
  • If the customer needs to reschedule an appointment, he/she must call a minimum of two (2) hours before the appointed window*.
  • If the customer decides to reschedule the appointment AFTER MISSING THE PREVIOUS APPOINTMENT, the additional charge will be the minimum rate of $30 along with the previous Home service fee charge.
  • Ontech Force LLC. WILL ISSUE A FULL REFUND FOR THE HOME SERVICE FEE CHARGE ONLY IF THE CANCELATION OR RESCHEDULE IS MADE A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT TIME AND NOT PARTS HAVE BEEN ORDERED PER THE CUSTOMER'S AGREEMENT*.

A Technician or representative may call the customer to confirm the Home service fee and give an estimated time of arrival. If the technician or representative is not able to reach the customer they will assume they are not home and the appointment will be canceled. The additional trip will be charged only if the technician or company representative doesn't reach the customer during the appointed window. Please remember that we may or may not call. 

** IN-HOME SERVICE FEE MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE!!

# If the customer cannot provide access to the television set or aid the Technician in moving it to a reasonable working space, the extra technician charge will be applicable. Only in the case of televisions over 60" will the extra technician charge be considered. Dismounting the television is solely the customer's responsibility, and is not included in the labor charge. If the customer does not wish to personally remove the television, the appointment may be rescheduled, and the extra technician charge may apply.
